Historic Renovation and Restoration Contractor in Richmond VA

Preserving Richmond’s Historic Buildings

Richmond is full of older buildings with character worth saving. Historic building renovation can be incredibly rewarding, but it also comes with surprises hidden behind the walls, aging building systems, and conditions no drawing fully captures. When it comes to historic restoration, you don’t know what you don’t know, and those unknowns can quickly become the owner’s problem if nobody is looking out for the whole project.

Planning for the Surprises Behind the Walls

We investigate existing conditions early, ask the questions you might not know to ask, and plan realistic contingencies into the budget so you aren’t caught off guard. We help you navigate preservation reviews and approvals and coordinate with architects and consultants to keep the project moving. Our goal is to honor what makes your building special while turning it into a space that works for your business today.
