Our President & Owner

Chris Alburger

Chris Alburger has spent more than 30 years in commercial construction, building everything from medical facilities and industrial spaces to government buildings and amusement park attractions. Along the way, he's led large project teams, helped grow a

general contracting business from approximately $3 million to $45 million in annual revenue, and managed complex projects ranging from $500,000 to more than $25 million.

His experience spans field operations, project management, and executive leadership, including senior roles at Whiting-Turner, Wack General Contractor, and Capital Interiors Construction. Throughout his career, Chris has developed construction management processes, trained teams, and built relationships with clients and trade partners that have lasted decades.

But Chris will tell you that successful construction takes more than knowing how to build something. You also have to understand why you're building it.

That philosophy is at the heart of CNA Contractor, the company Chris founded to bring a more owner-minded approach to commercial construction. Known for asking tough questions and anticipating challenges before they arise, Chris believes in taking radical responsibility for the entire project, not just the construction itself.

Chris brings the same level of care and commitment to the people involved as he does to the buildings themselves. He has worked with employees and subcontractors for decades. He believes in honest conversations, shared accountability, and building relationships that last well beyond the project's completion. For him, the greatest reward

is seeing clients open their doors, put their space to work, and succeed at what they set out to do.
